This piece is called “Vivre en Harmonie”
Which translate to “Living in Harmony”
The head symbolizes the ideas and concepts we’ve all grasped from generations to generations.
The body is the man and woman as one. The perfect man has the healthy dose of feminine energy. As so does the woman, carry subtle masculine energy. The woman is within the man because the man is the protector. It is also written that God made the woman from the rib of a man.
The yellow represents the man. The orange represents the woman. Only when we work together in harmony, are we able to elevate and achieve beauty.
Teaching
I use art to teach other how to process their traumas so that they can process and release the sadness or rage from inside. Emotions are to flow like a river. When they become trapped within, we become flooded with emotions. I teach adults and children.
Bookings
I accept bookings of specific art requests. I can take an idea or concept and bring it to life or, I also take freestyle requests as well.
Paint Style
My art primarily is focused on expressionism. My artwork is meant to bring emotions to life. My pieces are meant to touch souls and make the viewer feel the waves of emotions that is depicted within the art.
“Le Dragon Intérieur” or “The Dragon Within”
This piece identifies the dragon within us all. Inside, we each have a force that is awaiting to be released. When we are able to release the inner dragon, we are able to achieve greatness and create master pieces! As I began to hone and accept my purpose in life, I began to flourish and let my inner dragon out. Which made me feel empowered as I begin to notice the true essence of my being and walk in my calling.
“L'ignorance c’est Paradis” or “Ignorance is Paradise”
In my last relationship, I was in ignorance paradise by ignoring or finding excuses for all his red flags. The heart is on the wrong side, symbolizing it wasn’t true love. The orca or the killer whale in the back represents the danger I was in. All the lines represent the rollercoasters of emotions that I felt with him. In all this piece is to capture how something can feel so right but be so wrong
This piece is called “Je m'élève” or “Still I Rise”
With all that has been going in in society, this is a resemblance of the black man. Though they face many hardships and setbacks. Black men are still able to rise from the ashes and rebirth a more intensifying version of themselves.
“La Fin”
As you can see, most of my art describes either what I’ve been through or simply an idea that I had. This piece is called “The End” because this was originally made to show my feelings for someone that I was dating at the moment. However, when things fell apart between us I strongly considered trashing the art. Then, I realized that everything can work together for your good; thus being reinvented. So this piece symbolizes me just letting him go and moving on.
“Presque Étoile Croisée” or “Almost Star Crossed”
Mattew 19:6 ‘…Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate’. This piece resembles the love that never died no matter what worldly forces tried to separate it. This love was destined and no matter how many years seemed to have gone by, the fireworks still burn brighter and brighter each year gone by.
